Surfer's Car Break-In at Santa Cruz/San Mateo County Line

On Saturday April 2, 2005, between 11:15 A.M and 1:30 P.M. a surfer parked in the lot on Highway 1 a half mile south of the entrance to Ano Nuevo. While he surfed two windows on his car were smashed, and the following items were stolen: Pair of black cargo shorts, orange shirt, blue zip-up sweatshirt, grey boxers, keys, grey Motorola cell phone, black leather wallet, which contained cash, credit cards and his silver wedding band/ring with 2 interlocking pieces, and a 6'11" rounded pintail custom shaped Sauritch surfboard in mint condition, greenish-blue with an S on the top, 3 white future fins, black traction pad, with a black leash, inside of a black white Julie Designs day bag.

There was a suspicious person in the parking lot, whose personal and car description was given to the police.
