WHAT: Clean up Ocean Beach in the name of Earth Day while winning great prizes and learning more about our aquatic environments.

Be a part of something big this year and join tens of thousands of people, worldwide, in the Dive In To Earth Day movement, by protecting your local aquatic environments. Join us at Ocean Beach, the day after Earth Day, to take part in this global event.

WHERE: North Ocean Beach, San Francisco. We will be meeting near entrance #17, across from the Beach Chalet (between Fulton and Lincoln on the Great Highway).

WHEN: Saturday, April 23, 2005 (1:00 – 4:00 PM)

DESCRIPTION: The afternoon will begin with an educational talk and then bags and gloves will be handed out. The clean up will take approximately 1-1.5 hours and immediately following the clean up, contest and raffle winners will be announced with several excellent prizes to give away.

WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR: Bring your friends! And clothes appropriate for the weather. Also snacks, sunscreen, hats, water and whatever else you feel like bringing for a day at the beach. Please feel free to bring your own food and equipment, for post-event activities.
