Free Ocean Safety Class on Sunday, July 24, 2005 in San Francisco

Darrick Doerner, one of the Hawaii's most accomplished big wave surfers and lifeguards, will be giving a *FREE* ocean safety and awareness class on Sunday, July 24th, 2005 from 4 to 7 PM at Wise Surf Shop in San Francisco.

Darrick will discuss surf and water safety, including the following topics:

Basic first aid
Infant, child and adult CPR
Risk assessment and management
Maximizing peak experiences
Adaptation in different locations
Handling worst case scenarios
Scene assessment Teamwork

Additionally, Darrick will share stories from his experiences as a North Shore lifeguard. There will also be an open Q&A session and a slide show.
