Big Waves & Tall Tales Premiers in San Francisco, CA

San Francisco surfer and big wave charger Grant Washburn is screening a series spectacular short films from surfing's wild frontier at the Red Vic Movie House in San Francisco on January 26th - 30th, 2006.

Big Waves & Tall Tales, along with assorted subtitles like Maverick's Nightmares and The Great White Petting Zoo, features stunning film footage, gargantuan waves, and an assortment of radical yarns that provides a unique look at the folks who push the limits. Featuring John Raymond, Doug Young, Jeff Clark, Peter Mel, Randy Cone and Jay Moriarity. Ranging from classic oldies footage to contemporary carving at Maverick's to the Red Bull Big Wave Africa contest at Dungeons, these films include footage as fresh as the 30-foot plus swell of January 4, 2006!
