Not that you need any excuses to go surfing, but Thurs., June 21st is International Surfing Day, so grab your surfboard, body board, and/or fins and get out there! While you’re at the beach, help clean up the beach where you surf.
In conjunction with Save The Waves, Surfrider San Francisco is organizing a casual beach cleanup, bonfire, paddle out, and food/drinks gathering on Thurs., June 21st at Stairwell 17 (across from Beach Chalet). Beach cleanup is from 6:00-8:00 P. M. and some people will be paddling out for a late evening sesh. Food, drinks and a bonfire provided by Surfrider and Save the Waves.
When: Thursday, June 21, 6:00-8:00 P. M.
Where: Stairwell 17, Ocean Beach, SF (across from Beach Chalet, between Lincoln and Fulton)
Surfrider will provide the beach cleanup gear.
