NEWSFLASH: Mavericks Athlete Grant Washburn Appears on FUEL TV’s “The Daily Habit”

HALF MOON BAY, Calif., Feb 12, 2007 – Mavericks steward Grant Washburn will appear on FUEL TV’s “The Daily Habit” this Tuesday, February 13 at 9:00 pm ET (6:00 pm PT), hosted by Pat Parnell and featuring special musical guest Helmet.

Grant Washburn has been a key figure in Mavericks storied history, having acted as Associate Producer of the much praised big-wave film “Riding Giants.” Additionally, Washburn was an editor and contributor of the recently released “Inside Mavericks: A Portrait of a Monster Wave” book. Parnell and Washburn will sit down to talk about the much anticipated 2007 Mavericks Surf Contest® presented by Ask.com® whose holding period stretches from January 1, 2007 - March, 31, 2007 and features the world’s most respected big-wave surfers.

The show will re-air later that evening at 12:00 am ET (9:00 pm PT) and again on Wednesday, February 14 at 8:30 am ET (5:30 am PT) and 3:00 pm ET (12:00 pm PT). (Viewers should check local listings as airtimes can vary by location.)
