A "Summer in the City" fashion show benefit, sponsored by Aqua Surf Shop, for the Edgewood Center for Children and Families will be held on Thurs., Aug. 9th at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco. The show will feature swimwear and sportswear from Element, Nikita, Zoe Bikinis, L-Space, Volcom, and RVCA.

The show will feature music spun by Mr. Bean, DJ Smoky (Oneblood Sound), DJ Jacques & DJ Guacamole (WBLK Dancehall Massive), and DJ Pony P.

111 Minna Gallery is located between Mission and Howard Streets at 2nd Street.

The show is 21 and over. Doors at 7:30 P. M., show begins at 8:30 P. M. Tickets are $12 at the door, or pre-sale tickets are available at Aqua on Haight (1742 Haight Street at Cole) or Aqua at the Beach (2830 Sloat Blvd. at 47th Avenue). More info at 415-876-2782.

All proceeds from Summer in the City will go to Edgewood Center for Children and Families. Edgewood is a local-leading provider of mental health and social services for children and families in crisis in the San Francisco area. Edgewood currently serves more than 5,000 children and families each year in the Bay Area.
