Andrew Kidman will present his new book ETHER at Aqua Surf Shop’s Haight Street location in San Francisco on Sat., Jan. 12th from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.
ETHER is a special hardbound collection of Andrew Kidman’s work including photography, writing, screen prints and paintings. The book also includes classic interviews with many notable surfer/shapers–including Wayne Lynch, Simon Anderson, Mark Richards, Skip Frye and Michael Mackie.
The purchase of ETHER comes with a signed and numbered unreleased 10″ vinylrecord by Kidman. “I wanted to make a limited number of books and to makethem collectable. I don’t really like mass production of anything. Everyonethat worked on the book really put a lot of time into making it beautifuland we want it to be worth something, to mean something to people,” says Kidman.
Andrew will also be bringing/hanging some of his most recent artwork, andwe’ll try our hardest to get him to perform some live music too! So markyour calendars, and come by for drinks, music, art and ETHER.
