Save the Waves Benefit Party in San Francisco on Thursday, May 22, 2008

Save The Waves Coalition presents a sensational night of live music, art, film, silent auction, and environmental action at the second annual Life Is A Wave event, at 111 Minna Gallery in downtown San Francisco, Thursday, May 22, 6:00 P.M. ’til Midnight.

In addition to a very special musical guest, Life Is A Wave 2008 will feature the live local sounds of Guns For San Sebastian and Clif Bar’s own Dung Beetles, along with DJ Aaron Pope and DJ Paul. A silent auction and raffle will boast exclusive, limited edition items including original art, custom surfboards, surf travel, signed literature, and a bevy of surf related gear. This year’s event will also honor the tireless efforts of Mark Massara and his work protecting the California coast.

Sponsors of Life Is A Wave include Patagonia, Clif Bar, Zola Acaí, Mavericks Surf Ventures, Surfline, New Leaf Paper, and Joie de Vivre Hotels. Additional sponsors will be announced closer to the event date.

Tickets are a donation of $20 general and $50 Green Package, (Green Package includes a Save The Waves membership and cool goody bag). All proceeds to benefit Save The Waves Coalition.
