Shark Sighting at Stinson Beach in Marin on Sunday, August 24, 2008

On Sun., Aug. 24th, at approximately 7:00 PM, a 10-12 foot shark, suspected to be a great white, was spotted about 125 yards off the shore at Stinson Beach in Marin County.

The National Park Service has closed the beach to swimmers and surfers until sunset on Fri., Aug. 29th.
