The good news about this morning is the surf has definitely gained some more energy into the shoulder high to occasional head high set here and there. The bad news is the slop and junk has also gained in strength overnight bringing with it, mixed up, non-appealing crumbling, walled-up surf breaking erratically out there. The ocean is still fairly smooth and the breeze is slight; however there is lots of warble giving the surf the windblown, summer-type look, with a touch more size than summer. On top of which, it rained a good amount yesterday and into the night, so the water I’m guessing contains some bad mojo. Overall, putting together all the conditions of cold temperatures, poor, sloppy, with maybe an occasional shoulder to snag surf and not so clean water, conditions are not really shaping up for much surfing out here this morning.
