I hope you’re looking for a design person to fix this mess. I’m not quite sure what you were thinking. You need to: get the cam back front and center; change this blinding white page; find a select few bloggers to write(regularly) interesting bits to keep your audience.
thanks for the feedback scott, we are definitely working on all of your suggestions.
what’s up with all the anti-white comments? most websites have predominately white backgrounds. it may not be to everyone’s taste, but it certainly isn’t odd.
it’s good to see the steady stream of improvements.
thx Beachbum… we are stoked you are enjoying it too.
First of all congrats and good job on the new website.
Centering the camera should be quite easy, I looked into it and or you could change the CSS file in the “column span-11 first” section and add align = center
Or on the actual page with the cam, on line 94 you can add and at the end of line 101 you can add
(line 94 is the blank one after
)
I am more than willing to help you out with html and CSS, but am not much of a good designer so i rather not mess with the design.
Design? Why? I can’t think of a group of people that cares less about design. All Ocean Beach surfers wear black neoprene and ride white boards. Almost no variation. There’s obviously no concern for design. It’s a hard-core group that only cares about riding waves. So my suggestion is to put a single stringer up the middle of the white page and perhaps a black border. Then you can concentrate on content.
