We have a beautiful, cold, brisk morning out here at the beach with partly sunny skies, just a hint of a breeze out of the south and surf in the slightly overhead to double overhead range. Conditions at the moment are looking less than stellar with lots of funk and warble on the water giving the waves a sort of drunken, staggering uneasy look. For the most part we have solid overhead waves doing their best impression of a crumbling wall with not much happening out there as far as rideable shoulders go. On occasion, and I do mean occasion, a slow crumbling, fumbling, choppy shoulder makes an appearance here and there. If you’re desperate, you might be able to make a go of it, but things are not looking appealing out there. Overall we have sloppy, overhead surf, the winds are very slight out of the south, the sun is out and the air is cold, so all and all a little drive up or down the coast might reveal some working waves for you. Unfortunately, Ocean Beach is not looking all that surfable at the moment.

Due to popular demand, the entire report is now on the homepage. That should make bookmarking and reading easier. Hope you like it! Reimplementing the forecast is also at the top of our list.
thanks for putting the entire report on the homepage. Also thanks for FINALLY having an RSS Feed.
What happened to your forecast. it was very useful. The page I usually visited everyday.
late
when will the //home and //you’re reading text get removed from the banner…biggest eye sore in firefox
I agree with ya Shultzy. It looks like I’ll have to take Surfpulse off of my top menu bar and replace it with spitcast or NOAA. See you in the water, this time you’ll be looking at MY backside as you get stuffed in the pit. ha ha
No one can like a tuna can.
I personally thought your old format was cool. The blue page and the extended forcast was pretty accurate. But what ev.. were lucky to have a local site. ALOHA
The extended forecast can be found here:

We will be moving it into the new site asap. Thanks…
your new design is very nice; spare, functional and well-thought out.
And thank you for putting the whole forecast on the homepage. You’re reports are so conversational… it makes ‘em fun to read. It’s obvious that Surfpulse is a labor of love.
thanks
Thanks for listening about the forecast page, Richard. Surfpulse sill still be the best local info out there and the new format looks good and loads quickly.
