The Pacifica Beach Coalition is holding a fundraising event on Fri., March 28th, in order to raise funds for Earth Day events in April.

The event features the rockabilly/surf band The Wander Ins, a raffle, and a showing of Grant Washburn's new big wave action film, Quest for Fear.

The event begins at 7:30 P.M. (doors at 7:00 P.M) and will be held at Sanchez Concert Hall (1220 Linda Mar Blvd.) in Pacifica.

Advance tickets for the March 28 screening are $15 and can be purchased at the Pacifica Parks, Beaches and Recreation Department's main office at 1810 Francisco Blvd., as well as at Sonlight Surfshop at 575 Crespi Drive. Tickets at the door will be available for $20, along with specially priced tickets at $10 for attendees age 16 and under as well as those who are 60 and over. Thanks to Mr. Washburn's generosity, all net proceeds will be used to support Earth Day 2008 activities in April, which will once again be coordinated by the Pacifica Beach Coalition.
