Considering I noticed a little ice on my car this morning, I’d say it’s fairly cold outside at the moment. The surf is looking about as cold as the weather with solid surf in the slightly overhead to double overhead range breaking away. There doesn’t seem to be much organization out there with lots of closed out, mixed up waves breaking throughout the beach with no real rhyme or reason. Neither the inside or outside bars are working at the moment, with the inside bar being one giant wall of cold wet concrete barreling towards shore, while the outer bar is working a tad better, but not worthy enough to be called rideable. On the bright side, the breeze is once again out our favorite direction, the east and the ocean is looking relatively smooth, however the surf is unfortunately looking rather angry and not much fun at the moment.

By the way, does anyone know the scoop on the sailboat that has been sitting on the beach for a few weeks now? I noticed it got a nice decorative addition sometime in the past few days. How’d it get there? What happened to the people? Anyone planning on clearing it away?
I’m not sure, I heard the rumor a couple of drunk guys ran the boat aground sometime on New Years Eve and then just walked away and left it. At least that was the rumor in the water the other day??
This site is broken. Still no cam WTF
Nate, the cam should work in Firefox browser. There are still problems with it working in Safari. We are doing our best to ensure the cam will work in all major browsers.
the cam is broken for me on safari, but firefox on OSX works just fine, so there is a good workaround for mac users.
I heard that it was Gilligan & The Skipper out on another joy ride. Those two lushes really need to get it together.
