Sunday, Sunday, Sunday brings us sunny blue skies, the ocean is smooth and the breeze is out of the east. Conditions look fun with waves in the shoulder to slightly overhead range breaking away. Both the inner and outer bars are working at the moment with the inside producing fast, hollow shoulders for the taking, while the outer bar is producing the slower, crumbling shoulders here and there. The inside is definitely the more consistent wave with some stacked up sets a tad on the walled up side with some fun looking rewards for those in the right place at the right time. If you want to escape the crowds, bust out your long board and head to the outside where you’ll probably find some long, slow, uncrowded shoulders out there. Overall, it’s a beautiful January morning out here, so if you can escape the family obligations for a little today, a little surf will definitely do you some good. Enjoy the day!
