The best part about Great Hwy being closed, is when I go to cross the street on Lower Great Hwy, people are so irritated at having to be diverted down there, they get angry at me for trying to cross the street. Unlike the moods of some of the drivers out there, the sun is out, the breeze is slight and overall it’s a beautiful morning out here at the beach. The waves are looking in the waist to shoulder high range, definitely on the weak and crumbling side of the spectrum with an occasional soft shoulder to snag from time to time. The ocean has a bit of the morning, Spring time warbles to it, but its smooth in a undulating sort of way. Overall, conditions are definitely nothing to rush down here for with weak, stacked up, crumbling surf mostly on the sectioned walled up side of the spectrum. However, the weather is beautiful, the sun is out, so if you have the time for a paddle, conditions are definitely nice enough to get out there and splash around.
