The sun made a brief appearance this morning, but the time I had a little coffee, some breakfast and meandered out to the dunes, it was gone. Back is the fog, a steady but moderate breeze out of the southwest with waist to shoulder high surf with maybe a bigger set rolling in from time to time. Considering the breeze, the ocean is looking relatively smooth in a rough, textured sort of way with mostly crumbling, blah waves with an occasional shoulder to snag from time to time. If you’re desperate, which I’m sure encompasses all of us at this point, than you might be able to make a go of it and splash around out there. However, conditions are looking rather bleak with soft, crumbling waves, a textured ocean and poor to maybe marginal waves giving us poorginal conditions out here overall.
