Brown Cannon’s surf art and photography exhibit, “SURFACE,” will show at the Bolinas Art Museum from Sat., June 20 through Sun., Aug. 2.
The opening reception is on Sat., June 2 from 3:00–5:00 PM.
Cannon’s exhibit includes gorgeous surfboards inlayed with dramatic surf images, done in collaboration with Santa Cruz shapers Bruce Gordon & Nick Palandrani of GP Surfboards.
The ocean, travel, surfing, and photography have long been passions for the Mill Valley-based Cannon, an alum of the Art Center College of Pasadena. “SURFACE” aims to raise ocean awareness. Many of Cannon’s images have appeared in major publications like National Geographic Adventure, Travel & Leisure, Outside Magazine, Gourmet, and more.
