You know it’s a bad start to the week when on the first day back from vacation you spend a good part of the morning trying to get the coffee machine working to no avail. However, the good news is the weather and surf have gotten off to a better morning with sunny skies, just a slight breeze out of the west with waves in the shoulder to slightly overhead range depending where you are on the beach. The conditions are definitely looking on the stacked up side of spectrum with a relatively tough looking paddle. The ocean is smooth with just a slight amount of texture and warble, but smooth in a textured sort of way. Overall, it’s a beautiful morning, the paddle looks like some work with consistent head high waves with lots of scattered shoulders breaking away for those in the right place at the right time. Enjoy the day.

VFW’s, already a good onshore breeze at 7 AM. 2-4 ft., sloppy, but uncrowded.
Oh thanks Matt. Please keep everyone informed minute by minute and please tell us which peak is best and when. I have 5 buddies on speed dial; we drive in from Marin in our Black Audiʻs and giant Land Cruisers with surf racks if it sounds good out there.
Cool! I’ll let you know, Bob.

Brah – I got up late account of my hobknobbing at the De Young until very late. How is the surf?

Yea, because VFWs is always inundated with folks from Marin at 7am on a Tuesday morning.
