On tap this morning we have lots and lots of fisherman, a slight but steady breeze out of the west with weak, crumbling surf in the waist to chest high range. Summer is definitely letting itself be known out here with text book summer conditions of overcast skies, an onshore flow and small, crumbling surf. There are some people out and about splashing around this morning trying to do there best to avoid being hooked by one of the 4 million fisherman lining the shores this morning. Unfortunately though, surfing is not something that is happening in abundance out there. On occasion, a rideable shoulder or two sneak by and I have heard and witnessed some spots of the beach working a little better than others. Overall, the wind is light, the ocean is smooth in a textured sort of way, the surf is small, but with some searching and the right board, you’ll probably be able to find a somewhat marginal working peak or two.
