The good news about this morning is it’s Friday, the bad news is the onshore wind and blah surf remain. At the moment we have overcast skies, a moderate breeze out of the west with surf in the waist to chest high range crumbling away. The wind is putting a good amount of texture to the water and overall surfing conditions are looking rather meager out there. The random scattered shoulders of yesterday seemed to have vanished with the sun and all that remains are closely stacked walls of mush. If you’re desperate there might be something somewhat working somewhere and probably if you squint your eyes and stare at the surf long enough, you could probably convince yourself the conditions are worth a shot. Overall though, I stared for a long time at the waves trying to convince myself to go for a paddle, but unfortunately the conditions are looking just too blah at the moment.
