Yep, summer is still among us and nope, the surf has not improved. The good news about this morning is the breeze out of the west is light and the fog is fairly thick, which equals a relatively smooth ocean. The bad news is, the recession and budget cuts have finally affected the ocean and production of waves have been cut drastically. At the moment the waves look to be in the small to smaller range, topping maybe the chest high range with nothing out there really powerful enough to propel you forward. There might be a somewhat working peak somewhere along the beach worthy enough for a long board, but from what I can see, skipping stones probably would produce bigger sets. Enjoy the day.
