SF Surfrider Benefit at the Riptide on Wednesday, August 19

As part of their ongoing Wet Wednesday series, the Riptide is hosting a benefit for the San Francisco Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation.  Here are the details:

Please join us for a special Wet Wednesday at the Riptide. Stuart Colman, the author of Eddie Would Go, will be signing copies of his new book Fierce Heart: The Story of Makaha and the Soul of Hawaiian Surfing. There will be Hawaii surf flicks projected on the big screen, free food, strong drinks and DJ Evan will start the night by spinning rock, soul and disco and DJ Rafael will finish the night spinning electro glitch.
A portion of the bar and tips will be donated to the SF chapter of the Surfrider Foundation (www.sfsurfrider.org).
