It’s a beautiful clear, sunny, cold, crisp morning out here with a moderate breeze out of the North and surf in the slightly to double overhead range breaking away this morning. Unfortunately the torrential winds of last night that so rudely interrupted my sleep have created havoc on water. We have whitecaps, chop, funk and every other lovely quality associated with strong winds creating very poor conditions at the moment. Thus today is a great day to repair your boards, watch inspirational surfing movies such as North Shore and Point Break or just close your eyes and think about the joy Typhoon Choi-Wan brought to you last weekend. Since surfing unfortunately is not on the menu of things to do at OB this morning.
