We have clouds to the south, clouds to the north, clouds, clouds, clouds everywhere. The storm is a coming and with it comes a stiff breeze out of the Southeast, the ocean has a good amount of texture and warble to it with fairly jumbled conditions out there. The inside is a torrent of whitewater barreling towards shore, while the outside has waves in the slightly to 1.5X’s overhead range with an occasional double overhead set breaking here and there. Unlike yesterday morning, the reward vs. punishment ratio is definitely skewed towards punishment. There is the occasional overhead bomb to score out there, but it’s sort of like tracking down Waldo in a “Where’s Waldo Puzzle”. You know it’s there, but finding it while you’re out there seems like it would be a bit difficult. Overall, conditions are looking rather poor at the moment with probably some marginal peaks working here and there. However if you want to surf today, surf now, since conditions are going to deteriorate by the minute, maybe second. Enjoy the day.
