We have a beautiful morning out here with sunny blue skies, not an ounce of wind, the ocean is smooth and the surf is definitely breaking. At the moment it looks like we have waves in the head high to sets in the 1.5X’s overhead range showing its teeth right now. The paddle definitely looks a bit punishing with the inside bar doing the hollow, slamming thing, with more of the same on the outside. The surf for the most part is looking a bit on the walled up side of the spectrum with an occasional, fast, hollow shoulder to snag for those in the right place at the right time. Overall, the waves are definitely doing the walled up, sectioned thing with some punishment to definitely be served up for the paddle out. However, if you can manage to position yourself in the right place at the right time, you’ll probably have some fun, fast overhead shoulders in store for your future. Enjoy the day.

To the friendly individual who waxed my windshield Saturday morning at Rivera with, “park close enough deuch?!”
1) learn how to spell before spouting off; otherwise, you’re the idiot.
2) i was trying to leave some room behind my car for my friend to park. sorry i was too close.
3) since you can’t share the road, i’m glad i didn’t see you in the water.
That said, if you see me in the future just come up and introduce yourself and apologize for waxing my windshield. i’ll apologize for parking too close. First set wave will be yours, but then we’re even.

p.s. it’s ‘douche’
