This morning we have thick, misty fog right at the sand’s edge. While it is sunny and clear only two blocks inland, the fog is still too thick at the beach to make the surf out clearly. It should be an absolutely gorgeous day out here however, after the fog burns off. There has been an uptick in swell energy, which is good news. Unfortunately, the tide is large and in charge right now at 6+ feet, and conditions are totally swamped. The waves in the north corner are rolling all the way in to the beach and dumping onto the sand. It will definitely be worth a check later, with the increasing swell, and the promise of sunny clear skies, I’m expecting working head high surf somewhere on the beach after the tide starts receding.
