Greeting us on this fine morning are overcast skies, just a slight but steady breeze out of the South with sort of Southeast flavor at times. The ocean is smooth with just a touch of texture with sort of Spring like, warbled surf breaking away. At the moment the surf looks to be in the shoulder high range with an occasional head high set sneaking through from time to time. Unfortunately though,  it appears the surf spent a little too much time at the Riptide last night and has the uneasy, warbled, shimmy dance look going on as the surf staggers its way towards shore. On occasion, a fast little shoulder makes an appearance, but it’s definitely a right place, right time type of morning. Overall, conditions are looking a tad better than yesterday morning, so you could definitely make a go of it, but things are definitely still on the poor side of the spectrum. Enjoy the day.
