Greeting us on this fine morning is a moderate breeze out of the south, some sun with fog threatening to shut it down as we speak. The ocean has a bit of the texture thing going on with waves in the shoulder to an occasional head high set breaking away this morning. Unfortunately the fun under the sun of the previous couple days are gone and back are the crumbling, sectioned, walled up conditions of October. The air is definitely a little on the cold side this morning and the surf is just not looking inspiring at the moment. If you’re desperate and sick of your buddies talking about the waves of the previous couple of days, than you can probably make a go of it, but if you’re the guy I saw on Monday get covered up by a double overhead hollow face and come out of it looking like you just won the lottery, than you’ll definitely want to take a pass on this morning.
