A 31-year old surfer who lost his board while surfing off Dunes Beach in HMB was rescued, uninjured, in 14-foot seas at nightfall. More information at Mercurynews.com.

   I have waited about 10 minutes to go to shore because of pounding shorebreak. It can throw there pretty hard. Glad he was rescued. I can only imagine how freaked out his gfriend must have been.
