You know that lane south of Sloat Blvd. that has been closed recently? Count on those 600 feet of lane being closed indefinitely, according to a report on SFGate.com.
Erosion of the bluff has led to the lane closure; road vibrations have not helped matters. The past December’s storms accelerated the situation. City officials are working with the Army Corps of Engineers and the National Park Service to come up with a plan to shore up the bluff.
How soon until the parking lot disappears into the sea? Might need to get an Ark to save the animals at the zoo, too.
