We have a beautiful morning with sunny, hazy skies, just a touch of a breeze out of the east blowing over a smooth ocean. Conditions are looking fairly clean out there with waves in the 1.5 to double overhead range with some plus sets breaking off in the distance from time to time. The peaks are scattered, shifting around out there, however there are some beautiful shoulders here and there peeling away nicely off in the distance. The catch this morning is that lovely paddle is looking long and relentless with a definite chance of getting denied. Overall, the rewards are there this morning, except you will definitely have to earn them

Does anyone surf at the Sharp Park pier? It looks like a slightly more restrained version of OB…
Yeah
The north side has a nice super fast left sandbar when it’s on.
It seems much heavier than OB at times. Check it on a low tide and and a stiff east wind.
Google “reeling pacifica” there is a photo titled that out there that shows it clean and heavy.
