I left the board at home, knowing what was coming. I managed to catch some nice clean faces, and play with a sea lion! I also saw a crab swimming upside down! I debated eating it on the spot after I grabbed it, but just let it go. It was the tranquil waves and leashless so-much-fun-it’s-in-slow-motion banter of the dogs that put me in that timid mindset, even though I was hungry.
