Women’s Marathon Closes SFOB Parking Lots & Great Highway on Sunday, October 17, 2010

Anyone who has surfed in the last week (oh, weren’t those fun days!) know the VFW’s lot has been closed for the staging of the Nike Women’s Marathon today. And just when you thought you’d give that Friday-reopened southbound of Sloat Great Highway a drive, they doggone closed it for a bunch of runners. Great Highway between Fulton and Skyline is closed until 4:00 PM, as well as some other roads.

   I am sorry for this but it seems to be that someone on the Stoke Report is exploiting the beach by posting real time picʻs and twittering so much that it exploded the website so it is down and wonʻt be back. Thank you, now back to your seat.
