The surf is still looking rather mixed up with the local wind torn, haggard look. Although it’s looking far from good out there, there is the occasional shoulder moving through. Both the inside and outer bars are looking about the same with shifting peaks with smoother conditions to be found on the outside and rather jumbled conditions on the inside. Overall, the paddle looks like a bit of work, but definitely easier than it has been with right time, right place type of conditions in the head high to 1.5X’s overhead range.

The inside bar is looking rather relentless with shifting walls of water with more of the same on the outer bars. The ocean is looking rather rough and warbled with the waves going along with the flow maintaining a Spring time, wind torn look. Overall, the conditions are looking rather unappealing out there with crumbling, shifting peaks with waves seemingly folding on top of themselves in a slow rolling mush of water.

We have a beautiful, sunny morning with a slight to moderate breeze out of the NE blowing over a relatively smooth ocean with waves in 1.5 to occasional double overhead or so set. The inside bar is doing its thing of producing endless punishment, while the outer bar is looking better, but definitely not worth the paddle. Overall, its a beautiful morning, weather wise, the surf unfortunately is looking rather raw and unappealing. However, there is some swell in the water, thus something has to be working somewhere.

The breeze is slight and out of the southeast and the ocean is smooth. The paddle is looking punishing and the rewards look difficult, near impossible to track down. Overall, the ocean is looking smooth with mostly large, walled up waves with an occasional shoulder moving through here and there. Unfortunately, the waves are not looking so beautiful with a wind torn look of shifting, mixed up peaks doing the walled up, sectioned thing. Unfortunately though, the ocean is not jumping on the bandwagon by producing haggard, warbled, wind torn waves shifting around out there. On top of which, the paddle is looking fairly punishing, depending on where you are with zero rewards out there for all your hard work. Overall, the elements are there for a nice day of surfing, but it’s just not jiving together for the time being.
