The board is in super good (not perfect, but very near) condition. I paid $375 for it back in 1992 and only used it for 8 months. When I moved back to the bay area after leaving school in San Diego I just stopped surfing. The board has literally been in protected storage for 14 years. It only has a minor scrape and a tiny hole in the bottom that I put a little wax in to plug it up. For $250 you will probably not be able to find such a nice board.
It is a very fun board to surf. It is thin, light and carves great turns. It is a tri-fin design.
