Thomas Campbell Surf Movie Art Show in SF on Friday, March 27

Mollusk Surf Shop San Francisco is having an art show for Thomas Campbell’s new surf movie, The Present, on Friday, March 27, from 7–9 PM.

Contributing artists…Thomas Campbell, Peter McBride, Steve Keene, Kyle Field, Alex Kopps, Evan Hecox, Nat Russell, Jesse Ledoux, John McCambridge, Johanna St. Clair, Serena Mitnik-Miller, Tiffany Campbell, Scott Soens and Devon Howard.

Musical guest Tommy Guerrero.

Mollusk Surf Shop is located at 4500 Irving Street (at 46th Ave.), San Francisco.

The Present will be showing the next night, Saturday, March 28, at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Victoria Theater.

Aqua Surf Shop and Wavefest present the Brain Eating Surf Movie Night at the Victoria Theater in San Francisco’s Mission District on Fri., Oct. 26th.

ONE SHOWING ONLY! Doors at 8 P.M., show starts at 8:30 P.M.

This scary night features a costume contest and the “triumphant” sequel from filmmaker Brian Conley, My Eyes Won’t Dry.

Brian Conley will be there to introduce his barrelicious film, and help judge the best costume. Best one wins a custom shortboard from local shaper extraordinairre John Schultze, and other lucky participants could win wetsuits from Xcel, Oakley sunglasses, and more!!!

Also Scary Short films and live music preceding the film.

The Victoria Theater is located at 16th and Mission Streets.

$10 Advance tickets available at both Aqua Surf Shop locations.

Where: The Riptide, Taraval @ 47th Ave., Ocean Beach, SF
What: The Riptide, a bar at Ocean Beach, holds a Wet Wednesday surf movie night every week and will is hosting a special benefit for Surfrider.

15% of the bar sales will be donated to the Surfrider Foundationand a raffle will be held at 11:00 P. M. for a surfboard made by John Schultze.

Surf Movie Shelter in Marin

The surf movie Shelter will be part of Film Night in the Park’s “Surf Turf” double feature happening on Fri., July 6th in San Anselmo’s Creek Park.

Representing the “Turf” part of the film program will be two excellent mountain bike movies, Roam and Singletrack Minds.

Stoke Films and the Roxie Theater present two screenings of the new full-length surfing movie, with a science fiction plot, Invasion! From Planet C. Shot on locations in New Zealand, Costa Rica, Australia and California, the film stars Mike Black as Gnar Gnar and Matteo Plummer as Casanova. The movie is directed by David M Potter and marks Mike and David’s third feature film collaboration.

The screenings are on Thurs., May 10th at 7:30 and 9:30 P. M. at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco (3117 16th Street, between Valencia and Guerrero).
